In the busy bustle of life we often forget to immerse oneself in nature. Today was a simple day spent upon reflection of the past. There are so many regrets, triumphs and uncertainty but as with anything, one moment at a time.
I often get scared thinking about the future but it is Nature that always gifts us with the answers of serenity.
What is your break time and how do you manage stress? 2021 I gave and took a lot of stress accumulated over these 6 years but specifically 2015. I did a lot of political blaming which in hindsight was a bit stupid.
Slowly but surely rebuilding myself.
One thing that slips for me when depression potentially sets on is hygiene. This I need to be conscious of.
I’ve got so many things that I should be doing but sometimes I do get overwhelmed.
Anyways back to Nature- thank heavens we have this piece of treasure to escape from the heavy bustle of life.
Interesting. Nature is one thing that does center me. I often forget to just get out there and soak it all up. For me, when depression strikes – as it does from time to time, fitness is the one thing that slips by me. Which is also interesting. As it is the one thing that pulls me out of it. It just takes a while of wallowing before I remember. My mother used to tell me when I was young and I would get in a mood of some kind, even angry or rebellious. She’d say, “you can choose to feel the way you do for a short time; wash the dishes or sweep or something. When you’re done, get over it. Don’t let your mood ruin your day.” I have always tried to hang onto that. It has helped immensely over the years.

Yes, inactivity plays a big factor in stagnation! Glad your mother’s words have helped!
